About Me

Daina Ann Smith is a native New Yorker and a Fordham University graduate. Daina earned her BA in Acting and Film, with a concentration on Screenwriting, and an MST in Education. A passionate writer for all of her life, she spent her college years focusing on screenwriting and attending meet-ups with her mentor, Meir Ribalow, at The Players in Manhattan. Daina is now a 3 time WGA Optioned screenwriter with 4 films in pre-production and several features and TV series in her portfolio. Her latest film, Semolina Pilchard, which she co-wrote and co-produced with the talented Mike Clarke is currently filming in the UK and will wrap September of 2024.
