About Daina

Daina Ann Smith is a Spec-sold and 3 time WGA Optioned  and Produced screenwriter with 3 films in development/pre-production and 12 features and 2 TV series in her portfolio. Her latest film, Semolina Pilchard, which she co-wrote and co-produced with the talented Mike Clarke is in post-production and will be released Summer 2025. Daina is a native New Yorker and a Fordham University graduate. She earned her BA in Acting and Film, with a concentration on Screenwriting, and an MST in Education. Daina's latest spec-sale is expected to begin filming in 2025.
